May 14, 2004 – Émilie Roy is no longer part of Team RONA. The young cyclist from Saint-Cuthbert, Quebec, and the team's directeur sportif, Andre Aubut, have agreed that her athletic development would be better served in another context.

“I learned a lot from my experience with the team,” Emilie Roy explained, “but for the moment I prefer to pursue my career elsewhere.”

“I wish Emilie all the success she deserves in her career,” added Aubut. “She is a talented young cyclist, and I'm sure the world will be hearing more from her in the years to come.”
