May 16, 2007 – The Edmonton Midweek series started with a time trial on the hilly Villenuve course. 27 starters were greeted by warm temps and a moderate east wind making the return trip that much harder.

Bruce Copeland from Juventus/RVC/Kona took the A group with Ed Heacock from Edmonton Masters Cycling Club having the best time in the B group. Heacock successfully tested out his brand new Cervelo P3C, much to the dismay of the B group riders.

Also seen on the course was Canadian National Team triathlete Paul Tichlaar, who of course went for a brisk run for a cool down.
