June 26, 2006 – The MTB season has been going full swing across Ontario, with record number of participants at all levels of events. Next on the schedule is the Dukes Summer Epic 8 Hour at Hardwood Hills. This is a great event for Solo or Team riders to challenge themselves and compete with age categories.

The course is comprised of approx. 10 km of the most fun and fast trails at Hardwood Hills with just the right sprinkle of climbing. It is designed to be fun at speed for the fastest racers, and still an enjoyable experience for the everyday rider.

New for 2006! Every rider will have the chance to win a Kona Zing Road Bike courtesy of Dukes Cycle. The course will be marked and open for pre-riding this weekend. The course is open during regular Hardwood Hills hours of operation only, and regular trail fees apply until Friday July 14th. Early Bird entry discounts expire this Friday June 30th at 5:00 pm, and registration closes Wednesday July 12th at 9:00 pm.
