Don Valley Trail Workshop

October 28, 2004 – The International Mountain Bicycling Association’s (IMBA) Canadian office representatives Mark Schmidt and Lora Woolner will be in Toronto at the end of October to work with local land managers and trail users to look at solutions and management options for the Don Valley trails. This is the 2nd trail workshop in partnership with IMBA, but will cover new information, techniques and issues, as well as the basics. Therefore if is appropriate for newcomers and those who attended the May trail school.

Everyone who rides the Don or cares about the Don trails and forest is encouraged to attend. The workshop will be an excellent opportunity to. Everyone is welcome to register for the Don Valley Trail Workshop and it is FREE!!! Please see details below and register soon!

-Saturday, October 30 8:30am-5:00pm -8:30 a.m. – 12:00 Classroom session at the Don Valley Brick Works -(550 Bayview Ave.) -12:00 – 1:00 LUNCH, to be provided -1:30 – 5:00 Field session in the Don, near the North Toronto Treatment Plant

-Sunday, October 31 9:00am-5:00pm -9:00 a.m.-1:00 Field session in the Don, near the North -Toronto Treatment Plant -1:00 – 2:00 LUNCH, please bring your own -2:00 – 4:00 Finish field work -4:00 – 5:00 Ride the completed trail!

-Please note: The Saturday morning classroom session is mandatory for participation in the field sessions.
