September 8, 2006 – The previously reported news of Charles Dionne’s departure from the Saunier Duval-Prodir team in 2007 is apparently false. The news was announced by the French website Velo-Club du Net, but Dionne was interviewed Veloptimum earlier today and said, “I just spoke to my boss at Saunier Duval-Prodir, and the Velo-Club du Net “˜news’ was just a rumour. I am leaving next week for Spain for another medical test.”
