February 27, 2005 – The Devo Powerbar Spring Road Race Series gets underway today. With sunny skis, low entry fees and pancake flat course, is their reason to not get your season going in the tropics of Langley? So come out take advantage of your only opportunity to get some hard miles on the flats before we start to climb.

Just east of historic Fort Langley our River Road course offers smooth roads and great views of the South Chilcotin Mountains to the north. To get there take the Trans-Canada Hwy to 264th Street, head north on 264th to River Road, left on River Road to the start area at 256th Street. The Finish is on 84th Ave. Please DO NOT park at the Fort Vine Company.

Please come extra early for the first race so we can ensure that the races start on time. We will open sign-on at 9:00 am and close it at 10:15 am. Racing will begin at 10:30 with the A’s followed by the B’s and C’s in short succession. Entry and Waiver forms are available on our website at www.escapevelocity.bc.ca/springseries, having these filled out prior to your arrival will speed up the registration process.
