May 9, 2004 – After two weekends of rain, the 2004 track season will kickoff on Saturday, May 15th at the 200m Velodrome in Detroit. Juniors are invited to get a head start for the World Championship Qualifier at the Ontario Track Championships on June 18-20. There is a Clinic from 10 am – 2 pm with on-track & off-track sessions. Bring a helmet & pedals, bikes will be available from 3 pm onward. The racing action will begin with a Categories from beginners to Elite. Races will include, Devil (miss & out), Scratch events, Unknown Distance, plus a demonstration Keirin event is on the program. Many riders from Ontario, Ohio, & Michigan will be attending.
