November 26, 2007 (St-Augustin-de-Desmaures) – Louis Garneau, President of Louis Garneau Sports Inc. and founder of the Louis-Garneau Velodrome in St-Augustin-de-Desmaures could hardly hide his feelings of deception and disappointment after the City of Quebec pulled down the St-Augustin-de-Demaures Velodrome last week, on November 19th.
In 2001, Louis Garneau and the City of St-Augustin-de-Desmaures acquired the velodrome from the City of Bromont. Louis Garneau is well known for his tenacity, as Garneau’s motto is “Never give up!”
Garneau dreams that one day we will provide Quebec City with an indoor velodrome!
