February 09, 2013 (Italy) – After the demise of Team Spidertech, David Boily, one of Canada’s top young talents, second in the 2011 Tour de l’Avenir G.C., joins Team Amore & Vita for the 2013 season. “Amore & Vita has one of the most international racing calendars of any UCI Continental Teams, the European racing will suit my characteristics and allow me to grow as a rider,” said Boily.
Boily joins the 2012 UCI Asia Tour champion and current Iranian National Champion Hossein Alyzadeh as well as the current Israeli National Road Race Champion Niv Libner, the Israeli TT Champion Mikhailov, the young Estonian sprinter Mikhel Raim, the polish Dabrowski, the skilful Ukrainian Starchyk and a very international roster with riders from 9 countries.
“We are excited to add Boily to our already strong roster, he will be a valuable addition for hilly races and should do some good things in Italian races. He will debut at GP Camaiore, which will be the opening race of our racing season,” says team manager Cristian Fanini.
“We are also really excited to announce the addition of Spidertech to our growing family of sponsors. Our riders will benefit from the best kinesiology tape in the business; it will surely help with the team’s performance and recovery.”
