November 27, 2004 – The sandy dunes of Koksijde, Belgium (where this reporter has raced several times, with much unsuccess) were home again to the fourth World Cup. the dunes, which always seem to favour the Belgians, did not disappoint: Erwin Vervecken (Fidea) took the win in a five-deep Belgian sweep.
