November 14, 2005 – With one more event on the calendar, it would almost seem like the game is over for the Mike’s Bike Shop “˜cross 4 a cause series. Patrice Boudreau as a 75 point lead over René Julien, but lets not forget the series’ special rule. After winning last week’s event, Patrice will now have to move up a category and will now carry a larger handicap. He will now have a hard time collecting points.

Tomorrow (Tuesday at 6 pm) night’s event promises once more to be very competitive. For the last three weeks, the events have been completed in total darkness and this experience proved to be very enjoyable for everyone. After the event, we will proceed to official award presentation and the winner of the overall classification will make a donation to a cause of his choice (every stage winner chose one cause, and the GC winner will pick among the four selections). As this will officially conclude the season for both the Mike’s Bike Shop Cycling Club and the National Cycling Centre — Atlantic Canada, a little (mid-week) celebration will follow!
