October 26, 2017 (Victoria, BC) – This past weekend the annual Cycling Canada Summit was held at Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria, B.C. with lots of top riders and former legends on hand for the gala evening fundraiser on Saturday. A crowd of 175-200 shared a glass as Jeff King MC’d a stellar evening that also featured a silent auction with fabulous prizes and even a few live auction items that raised over $15,000 for Canada’s national team.

Stars like Michael Woods, Leah Kirchmann, Rob Britton, Ryan Anderson, Ben Perry, Alison Jackson, Geoff Kabush, Adam de Vos and many more were joined by past greats such as Alex Stieda, Ron Hayman and others for a superb evening of stories and camaraderie.

Woods, Kirchmann and Stieda joined King for a short question and answer session that the crowd loved as they took on topics about their highs and lows, advice for young riders including their views on doping. Bob Bannerman received an award for his longstanding support.
