October 26, 2013 (Ottawa, ON) – The 2013 Cycling Canada AGM is underway in Ottawa this weekend as delegates from across the country coverge in the nation’s capitol to review how the season went, what lies ahead, and how to improve the sport going forward. Cycling Canada is showing a surplus once again and recently hired two track coaches and a Business Development Manager to assist with marketing. At the President’s reception on Friday evening delegates shared a glass while Service Pins were also awarded honouring longstanding contributors to cycling. Following Saturday’s all-day meetings things will wrap up on Sunday morning with the AGM, elections and final awards.
