January 5, 2008 – Cycling BC’s Youth Team (U16) kicked off the 2008 season with events in Comox and Victoria on Thursday and Friday of this week. Taking advantage of the school holidays, we held two clinics that focused on the BC Summer Games and an introduction to the sport of competitive cycling.

Youth Clinic #1

11 cyclists and 3 coaches were introduced to a series of fun races including:

1) The Scratch Race
2) Street Sprints (100m)
3) Miss and Out
4) Win and Out
5) Points Race

Each clinic was two hours in length.

If you can get three or more participants, we will come to your community and host a special Youth Team clinic.

We would please to provide clinics for schools, sport teams and existing cycling clubs throughout the province.
