January 11, 2008 – Cycling BC will be hosting a one-day cycling coaches’ conference in the fall of 2008 and they are requesting input from potential participants.

Recognizing that there are other Conferences running in the fall (see note below), we are suggesting two weekends for our Cycling BC Conference- and looking for direct feedback from active coaches to ensure maximal attendance is possible. The proposed dates are:

1. November 15th , or
2. November 22nd

This will be led by Cycling BC coaches and Kurt Innes from the Canadian Sport Centre Pacific, and we are welcoming your suggestions on the content.

It would be great for us all to share the knowledge that is already within the Province, and build for the future.

The two other conferences this fall to keep in mind for professional development opportunities are as follows:

1. October 25, 2008 – Kelowna – Okanagan Sport Leadership conference
2. November 7-9, Calgary – Coaching Association of Canada – Sport Leadership Conference
