June 23, 2011 (Vancouver, BC) – Here is some information about upcoming mountain bike events in BC this summer, including this Sunday’s Cardiac Classic BC Cup XC on Burnaby Mountain. For the more gravity-prone riders, Mission, BC is home of the toughest DH course in the province, while Panorama Resort hosts the National DH Championships, July 23-24. For more info, see below.

Arduum Guns & Rotors BC Cup DH – July 8-10
For the final time the steepest, most technical DH Race takes place in Mission BC. To honor the final race this year will be an ALL METAL ALL THE TIME EVENT. Music via two super large speakers in the back of the red Toyota will be running all weekend!! For information click here.

Canadian DH Mountain Bike Championships – July 23-24
This year’s National Championship downhill race is going to be amazing! Cardiac Classic BC CUP – June 26
The 4th annual West Coast Racing’s Cardiac Classic will once again feature events for all ages. Burnaby Mountain’s set of historic trails, combined with the fantastically swoopy Gear Jammer and Upper Cut, will provide thrills and challenges for every participant. Come to see the sensational flowing singletrack descents that Burnaby Mountain has to offer, plus a healthy dose of the technical trail features that are the hallmark of riding in BC.
