July 7, 2005 – Cycling BC BMX is proud to announce the opening of their new track in Kamloops. Welcome to Big Pine BMX located in Kamloops, BC at the top of the brand new MTB park called “The Ranch”. To kick things off, Cycling BC and the KBRA (Kamloops Bike Riders Association) hosted a
triple point district race and two BC Cup Provincial series events.

The track and location were an instant success and once the park is fully operational, expect to see some major events and camps at this amazing site. The course was designed by Kevin O’Brien and built with the generous support from the City of Kamloops and KBRA. Special thanks to Ron Sharp and Kelly Johnston.

If you’re passing through town be sure to head up to the top of
HIGHLAND drive off Highway #1 East and check out the track. Full
