February 05, 2015 (Toronto), ON – CUBE bikes, available in 60 countries worldwide, has chosen Canada to lead off its North American debut. A growing list of select Independent Bike Dealers (IBDs) have already 2015 moved models onto the floor and out the door to riders well aware of CUBE’s reputable performance.
“CUBE brings considerable innovation to the Canadian retailer in time to combat the industry’s sliding sales. Our diverse offering of mountain, road, cross, triathlon and touring bikes not only turns heads but generates excitement with its advancements in frame composition and geometry,” says Mark Cator, Chief Excitement Officer of euCan, the Canadian distributor.
Of particular interest to the retail and touring industries is CUBE’s comprehensive line of e-bikes. Powered by BOSCH, the system of choice for over 50 bicycle manufactures globally, CUBE’s intuitive pedal-assist technology will attract new and lapsed riders to the sport. “Struggling up hills or tackling long commutes is no longer a barricade to enjoying a ride. Fold in CUBE’s reliability factor and this is big news for the health of retail, lifestyles and the environment,” adds Scott Graham, euCan’s Chief Motivation Officer.
While highly respected across the pond, CUBE’s credibility in Canada will gain traction quickly as news of its accomplishments spread. Wanty-Groupe Gobert, the Pro Continental road racing team from Belgium, has inked a multi-season partnership with CUBE. And there’s Nico Lau, of the CUBE Action Team member, who notched multiple podiums, including 2nd in Whistler, to place 4th on the Enduro World Series. Ironman champion Michael Raelert rode his CUBE Aerium to four top finishes in 2014 earning him a second title as Ironman 70.3 World Champion.
“The input from professional athletes is of the utmost importance for us to bring the highest quality to our customers,” states Marcus Pürner, founder and owner of CUBE. “CUBE is driven by the aspiration to get out the maximum of every bike. All models undergo extensive field-testing by engineers and professional bikers. The result is an uncompromising combination of functionality, weight, stiffness and safety.”
