November 16, 2005 – The script could not have been better. It started four weeks ago in a nice sunny daylight, and it concluded with the nightly snow flakes falling on the ground at St-Anselme park. Last night was the last of the Mike’s Bike Shop “˜cross for a cause series. It officially concluded the 2006 season for the Mike’s Bike Shop Cycling Club and the Atlantic Cycling Centre.

Last night saw once again a new winner for the event. Vincent Losier took the stage followed by Charles Cormier and Andre Léger.

After the event, it was time for the awards to be presented. Ovarall, Patrice Boudreau became the official winner of the series, followed closely by Michelle Chase and René Julien. As promised, all the registration money will be donated to a good cause, and Patrice picked the United Way Foundation. The Mike’s Bike Shop Cycling Club will also match the donation dollar per dollar to double the fund raised.
