September 22, 2006 – The Provincial Mountain Bike Championships took place this past weekend and with that the opportunity to vote for the MTB Athlete Representative and the MTB Coach Representative positions on the OCA High Performance Committee were up for nominations. With only one candidate nominated for Athlete Rep. Cris Douglas was acclaimed and will remain on the OCA High Performance Committee for another year providing his expertise and valuable insight into the sport of mountain biking in Ontario. As there were no candidates for the Coaches Rep. it will remain vacant for another year.

Voting for MTB Representative positions will take place at both DH and XC events on 2007.
