July 5, 2004 – The Canadian Cancer Society invites you to ride your bike on
a training day with the Cops for Cancer team in a “Tour for a Day”. This
fun, one-day event supports children in your community living with cancer.
So jump on your bike!

When: Sunday July 25, 2004, 9am-4pm
Where: Aldergrove Lake Park
What: Tour for a Day is a 25, 50 or 100 km bike ride to raise funds for
cancer research and programs for kids affected by cancer, like Camp
Goodtimes. Rider will bike with the Cops training for September’s Tour for
a Friend.
Cost: $40.00* (includes snacks on route, BBQ lunch & a Team in Training
Ride T-Shirt)
*a minimum $100 in pledges must be raised
Incentive Prizes for money raised*:

– $100- Bandana
– $400 – Shorts
– $150 – Hat
– $1,000 – Vest
– $5,000 – Bike
– $10,000 – Ride for a day on the Tour for a Friend

* prizes will accumulate – i.e., raise $10,000 and receive every item on
the list
