December 8, 2010 – On December 3 at 10:45, the 1996 road cycling National Champion and two-time ITT national title holder, Susan Palmer-Komar, along with husband Christopher Komar, and two daughters Trinity Michelle and Jade Lauren, welcomed Takoda Marshall Komar into their family. “In addition to our two daughters … Susan and I feel a deep sense of gratitude to have three healthy children,” said the happy father. “Takoda shares a common birthday with one of my favorite literary writers, Joseph Conrad.” Takoda is of Sioux origin and translates as, “a friend to everyone or an ally to all.”
