February 4, 2010 (Edmonton, AB) – Pedal would like to congratulate Roddi ‘Hot Sauce’ Lega on becoming a City of Edmonton Firefighter. Lega qualified first on the Edmonton Firefighters eligibility list. The list contains hundreds of eligible applicants and ranks them based on all of the testing they have completed in the past 7 months.

Lega is best known to the Canadian cycling world for winning the 2002 National Cyclo-cross Nationals, the 2004 Canada Cup overall and the 2007 Transrockies with teammate Tim Heemskerk.
