October 8, 2010 (New Delhi, India) – Canada’s Zach Bell took home the bronze in the Men’s Scratch Race while Tara Whitten also claimed the bronze in the Women’s Individual Pursuit on final Day 4 on the track at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

“Great day to finish off on the track, especially against the numbers that were out there,” said Bell. “It will be a good boost for the confidence moving forward for the rest of the week and the rest of the year. Thanks for all the support from the Canadian team staff for their hard work. An a huge thanks to all the support from back home in Vancouver and the Yukon. Days like this are possible because many people make them possible.”

“I am really happy the way the week has gone and I am looking forward to the road events now. It’s been a lot of fun so far and more to come. Thanks to everyone for all the help,” commented Whitten.
