October 31, 2006 — The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is now accepting nominations for the 2007 Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame.

Established in 1949, the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame honours sports men and women who have made notable contributions as athletes, teams, coaches or builders to the Olympic Movement in Canada.

The COC encourages individuals, sport federations, clubs and organizations to nominate candidates to receive recognition in 2007. Below are the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame’s selection criteria and nomination forms as well as a listing of past inductees.

All nominations must be submitted to the COC by November 3, 2006. All individuals and organizations are asked to submit their nomination by mail, fax or email to the following address:
