Dr. Wilson will draw upon her two decades of international experience to illustrate how easy and important ìmind trainingî is. All the physical preparation behind an athletic performance can unravel on game day or in the final stretch of a big race if the mind is not also prepared for that moment. Increasingly, coaches are becoming more aware of the need for mental coaching and you will learn some important principles and take away some ideas to use to improve results.

Olympic Coach and CAO Board member, Barrie Shepley has helped develop the monthly educational series as a way of furthering the knowledge of athletes, parents and coaches. All three key stakeholders are welcome and encouraged to attend the free monthly speaker series. The inaugural talk in November with strength specialist Sheldon Persad attracted over 100 coaches, parents and athletes from London to Kingston.
