August 6, 2003 – The Sugoi Dirt Series is past the halfway point for 2003, and the season has already been a resounding success with every camp at capacity or more, and tons of happy participants.

The kick-off to the rest of the season promises to be just as awesome. Run August 16-17 in conjunction with Mike Wiegele's world-famous Heli-Skiing Resort in Blue River, British Columbia (just north of Kamloops), it will be the first camp of its kind to feature heli-drop singletrack riding as the piece de resistance to an amazing weekend. What's more the heli-drop will be at a super discounted rate of $150 (Canadian) per rider.

Wiegele's base camp features everything from super-plush lodge accommodations to fully serviced campsites so that tired bodies can recover between days full of top-notch instruction and epic singletrack. Campers who wish to take advantage of the heli-drop will have different options for the ride back depending upon skill and fitness level. Campers who prefer to ride in the valley will have the potential of seeing trails in both Blue River and Valemont.

Needless to say, this should be a fantastic weekend on all fronts!

The Sugoi Dirt Series will wrap up the year with their second visit to Alberta, visiting Calgary on September 6-7 to visit The Bike Shop and then a first-ever Reunion Camp and Weekend in Whistler, September 20-21 to be held in conjunction with the Glacier Shop.
