July 17, 2013 (Blue Mountains, ON) – Centurion Cycling is very excited to announce it’s first ever invitational U23 National Stage Race event at Blue Mountain Village, September 14th, 15th, and 16th 2013. The Centurion Prospect Challenge! This sanctioned event will bring together the best young riders from provincial Teams across Ontario, BC, Alberta, and Quebec. There will also be some independent teams, including the Centurion Cycling Development Team.

Centurion Cycling’s mission is to develop and grow cycling in Canada. This stage race is sanctioned by the Ontario Cycling Association. The Prospect Challenge will include the following: Friday night Hill Climb up the Niagara Escarpment Scenic Caves Hill, Saturday Afternoon Criterium through Blue Mountain Village… fun and fast. Sunday the athletes will take on the Centurion 100 mile course, there is a total of $5000.00 to be won during this event. Hosting this event is giving our national level competitors an opportunity to enhance their skills, get national exposure, and show Canada what cycling has to offer.
