November 9, 2004 – The CCA would like to congratulate event director Jeff Currie of Mike’s Bike Shop Cycling Club, and his team for the fantastic job they did hosting the 2004 Cyclocross National Championships.

In Dieppe, NB on Nov. 6, 91 athletes from nine provinces braved cold and windy conditions to vie for the honour of wearing the national champion jersey, on a demanding course in the Rotary Park St-Anselme, the site of the Atlantic National Cycling Centre. All of the top active Canadian cyclocross athletes were present, including last year’s national champion, Wendy Simms of BC; Alberta’s Samantha Nicholson; BC’s USGP of Cyclocross series leader Geoff Kabush (Maxxis Giant); and home province favorite and six-time national champion Peter Wedge (Kona).
