March 17, 2005 – The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce that Eric Van den Eynde of St-Bruno, QC, has been signed on for a further four years as national coach.
Eric already has a long history of success working with CCA athletes at major events, including all Olympic, Pan American and Commonwealth Games since the Atlanta 1996. Eric commands enormous respect in the international cycling community for his knowledge and his achievements in the face of extremely limited resources over the years. He is an invaluable part of our national High Performance programs.
The conclusion of Eric’s contract is the first of several key moves that the CCA is making as part of the restructuring of our national team programs and coaching staff. Further announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
