CCA Road and MTB Training Camps in Tucson – Feb. 11-21

December 21, 2009 – The Canadian Cycling Association will be conducting two parallel National Team training camps in Tucson, Arizona, February 11-21, 2010. One camp will be for U23 and Elite mountain bike riders and the other will be for U23 and Elite road athletes. The camps will include discipline-specific training as well as road rides with both the road and mtb athletes. Both the National Team MTB and Road Coaches are requesting that interested athletes send their expressions of interest if they would like to attend the camps. Read on for more information.

MTB Camp
The Canadian Cycling Association will be conducting a National Team training camp in Tucson, Arizona February 11-21, 2010 for U23 and Elite mountain bike riders. This camp will be targeted at our highest performing National Team and Selection Team athletes.

Mountain Bike athletes interested in participating in the program should contact National Team Coach, Dan Proulx (dan.proulx@canadian-cycling.com) prior to Wednesday, December 23, 2009 to indicate their interest in the camp. All applicants will be assessed on the following criteria as excerpted from the 2010 selection criteria document (complete 2010 Selection Criteria will be available in early January).

Road Camp
The Canadian Cycling Association will be conducting a National Team training camp in Tucson, Arizona February 11-21, 2010 for U23 and Elite road athletes.

Road athletes interested in participating should contact Road Coordinator, Matthew Knight (road@canadian-cycling.com) prior to December 22, 2009. All applicants will be assessed based on the following criteria as excerpted from the 2010 selection criteria document (complete 2010 Selection Criteria will be available in early January).
