November 17, 2010 – The CCA has released the national calendars for all cycling disciplines. The road calendar is stacked with UCI events, including the Grand Prix Cycliste Pro Tour races slated for September 9 and 11. The National Championships will take place in Burlington, ON, June 23-25 for U23 and elite riders, while the junior and para-cycling National Championships are scheduled for June 30-July 3. The National MTB calendar sees the Canada Cup kick off in Mont-Tremblant, QC on May 21. XC Nationals will once again take place in beautiful Canmore, AB in mid-July, while DH Nationals will hit Panorama Resort in BC, July 24-25. The World Cup will be back at MSA, July 2-3. The sole UCI Track event on the Canadian calendar is the National Championship in Bromont, August 8-14. The Canadian BMX calendar has two Canadian Open events in Abbotsford, BC, with Nationals set for August 5-11. Toronto will dominate the Canadian Cyclocross calendar, with the double header UCI 2 Centennial Park Cross, October 15-16 and National Championships on November 5.
