June 2, 2010 (Portland, Oregon) – The Canadian Cycling Association announced today a seven-member team for the 2010 BMX World Championships July 28th-Aug 1st, 2010 in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. The Team will begin their build up to Worlds with a camp in Abbotsford, BC from July15-18. The team will then travel to Europe for training on an SX start hill before traveling down to Pietermaritzburg, South Africa for the Championships.

The funding from the CCA will allow elite and junior athletes to be partially funded.
