July 9, 2007 (St. Georges de Beauce, QC) – Following yesterday’s Junior road race championships at the 2007 Tim Hortons Road Nationals won by Denise Ramsden (ON) Team Ontario and Stephane Cossette (QC) EVA-Devinci the CCA’s High Performance Committee has selected Canada’s 2007 Junior Worlds Team that will compete at the 2007 Junior World Championships in Aguas Calientas, Mexico, from August 5-12.
All selected riders must qualify by meeting the minimal performance standard in the pursuit – 2,000m women and 3,000m men – on Thursday, July 12 at either the 2007 Tim Hortons Track Nationals (junior, master, paracyling) July 12-15 in Bromont, QC, or with electronic timing and a commissaire present.
