December 1, 2007 (Calgary, AB) – The 2007 CCA AGM began yesterday in snowy Calgary, Alberta beside Canada Olympic Park with opening sessions that included presentations from National team sponsors H&R Block, Tim Hortons and Louis Garneau, and delegates such as Richard Wooles, BC Coach and High Performance Director.
An early evening reception and banquet was followed by guest speaker, paracyclist Brayden MacDougall, who has cerebral palsy and is from Alberta. MacDougall gave a passionate speech on how cycling has enriched his life from the early days when he was introduced to cycling, to his involvement with the National team and his aspirations to represent Canada at the Paralympics in 2012.
