November 16, 2004 – An enormous congratulations goes out to Marty McSweeney and Terry Lipovski along with the city of Ottawa as they are well on their way to having a race ready track open for the Spring of 2005. The city has been very cooperative, all of their various departments and people have been helpful.

Terry Lipovski, an ex-Pro BMX racer, and ex-factory Norco freestyler from Alberta, who got involved in Capital BMX, has really pulled it all together. He put the proposal together that was sent to the city, he designed the track, the jumps, and the “decision maker section”.

Terry and Marty will be the guys heading up “Capital BMX”, and as this track on Ogilvie Rd grows, so will the fun and exciting events that go along with a great track.
