December 22, 2009 (Cali, Colombia) – Check out the exciting video coverage of the gold medal final of the women’s team pursuit at UCI Track World Cup #3 in Cali, Colombia on December 12. The final came down to Team Canada vs. Team USA, with Steph Roorda, Laura Brown, and Tara Whitten representing Canada.

The Canadian trio started aggressively taking the lead, but then the U.S. squad took over. However, with about 1.5km left to go, Roorda, Brown, and Whitten dug deep as the Americans faltered, and they snatched the gold medal with only 1.1 seconds to spare, setting a Canadian record.
