Canadian Women’s Road Team Euro-Campaign Update – Kirchmann, Canuel Riding Strong

April 28, 2014 – Team Canada currently has a women’s road contingent in Europe, gaining valuable racing experience among the top ranks. Leah Kirchmann (Can) Team Canada is riding strong and logged a fourth place finish on Saturday in the 121.km road race at the EPZ Omloop van Borsele in the Netherlands. Fellow Canuck Karol-Ann Canuel with Specialized-lululemon has also been performing well. She finished eighth in the EPZ Omloop van Borsele’s 19.5km time trial on April 25. On Sunday, riders contested the 125.72km Dwars door de Westhoek in Belgium – here are some brief results.
