Canadian Track Team Update from Wales – Preparing for Olympic Test Event in London

February 13, 2012 (Wales) – Here is a brief report from the Canadian Track Cycling squad, which is currently in Wales preparing for the upcoming high-profile UCI World Cup and London Test event. The riders are positive and primed for some strong performances.

After a great first three days, the team is settling in and Wales is starting to feel like home. We’ve been on the track for the third day, and already the bodies are starting to come around and are posting some fast times. We are looking forward to the trip up to London after our last big training efforts in Wales tomorrow.

We spent our off day today visiting Richard home town in Abergavenny after a great week of hard training.

Next step is the 2012 Olympic Games test event next week.
