Canadian Track Juniors to Revolution 23

December 23, 2008 – It is with great pleasure that four, up-and-coming Canadian Juniors have been preparing to race at the Manchester Velodrome in early 2009. Two junior riders from the Burnaby Velodrome, Scott Mulder and Jacob Schwingboth, and two juniors from the Forest City Velodrome, Allan Leparskas and Ryan Aitcheson are going to the Manchester Velodrome to compete in the Revolution Series on Saturday, January 10, 2009.

The riders and their parents would like to thank….. the organizers of the Revolution Series, DHL Express, Dolan Bicycles and many other kind people who have been working behind the scenes for the last two months to put this racing opportunity on for our young Canadian athletes. Terry Dethridge, owner of the Bicycle Shop in Brantford will serve as team mechanic for the time at the Velodrome.

It’s not too late for young Road and Mountain bike racers to come to the Burnaby Velodrome (www.BurnabyVelodrome.ca) or the Forest City Velodrome (www.ForestCityVelodrome.ca) and start your preparation for the 2009 season. Both Velodromes have Introduction to the Velodrome Sessions, Skills and Drills as well as Youth Training programs every week.

We will update the progress with race results during the course of our stay in Manchester.
