June 29, 2014  (Lac Megantic, QC) – Cody Canning (Accent Inns/Russ Hay’s p/b Scotiabank) and Annie Foreman-Mackey (Stevens-The Cyclery / Team Ontario) topped the men’s and women’s fields in the Challenge Sprint, the final event of the 2014 Global Relay Cycling Canada Road Championships that wrapped up on Sunday in in Lac Megantic, QC.

Foreman-Mackey lead a Stevens-The Cyclery podium sweep while Canning and Geoffroy Dussault (Garneau-Québécor), who pipped Elliott Doyle (Team Silber Pro Cycling) in a photo-finish for second place, earned berths at the Challenge Sprint Pro at the GPCQM.
