November 12, 2003 – Montreal sports doctor Maurice Duquette has entered a guilty plea regarding EPO prescriptions to several athletes from Quebec, including a top-level cyclist. Dr. Duquette could face a four-month suspension of his medical license. A publication ban has been released on the cyclist in question, although there are attempts to remove the ban. The CCA and FQSC have also stated they will be conducting an investigation pending further information.
