Cycling BC is pleased to announce that Daryl-Evans Mechanical has generously expanded their support of the 2012 Canadian Cyclo-cross Championship providing the opportunity to offer prize money for the top racers . Their contribution will allow for the following:

Elite Men and Elite Women categories:
1st place: $200
2nd place: $100
3rd place: $50

Also, Daryl-Evans has agreed to provide a special prize of $100 to the highest placed Cycling BC member in each of the 8 Championship title categories.

The Daryl-Evans’ BC Grand Prix of Cyclo-cross presented by Red Racer, taking place on Sunday following the Championship race will see an increase to the amount of the Elite Women’s prize purse. The highest ranked third of the Elite Women’s field will receive the same amount of prize money as is to be paid for the Elite Men’s field; for example, if 21 Elite Women enter the race, the 7 highest placed women will receive the same individual prize amounts as the 7 highest placed men.
