February 17, 2005 – The Canadian Cycling Association is pleased to announce the riders selected to the 2005 BMX spring development project in Florida.

Carded athletes were automatically chosen for the project, and the remainder of the team was selected based on the results of the Abbotsford Indoor competition on February 12 and 13.

After some close racing which led to tough choices, the team will be as follows:

Elite men:
-Aaron Lepp AB (automatic)
-Bob Rowley ON
-Jon Land BC

Elite women:
-Samantha Cools (automatic)

Junior men:
-Scott Erwood BC (automatic)
-Patrick Lebel AB

Junior women:
-Christine Miller AB
-Danielle Brisson BC

The project will consist of two UCI events: the NBL Easter Classic National in Orlando, Florida, on March 26, and the NBL Gator National in Tampa, Florida, on April 2. The week between the events will be spent training in Florida.
