April 27, 2008 (Tollembeek, Belgium) – Canada’s Simon Lambert Lemay (Hot Tubes) from Quebec won his second European junior road competition in a week, crossing the finish line of the 94km race in Tollembeek with a time of 2:24 according to the Belgian website Velo Wallon. Joaquim Durant (Bel) was second, followed by Jan Willem van der Sande (Ger) in 3rd. No other Canadians were in the field of 46 competitors. Last Sunday, Lambert Lemay won the 90km junior road race in St-Eloois-Vijve.
