Canada’s Rollin Scores Two Podiums in Europe

September 8, 2006 — Canadian 2006 Road Champ, Dominique Rollin (VC Roubaix Lille Métropole), finished second and third in two Euro races this week. He rolled across the finish line in third on Wednesday at France’s 134.4-km Circuit du port de Dunkerque (Elite Open), 13 seconds behind team mate Martin Mortensen of Denmark. Mortensen finished in 3:24:28 fighting against a violent wind.

The next day Rollin did better at Belgium’s 120-km Le Grand Prix de Ploegsteert, finishing second, just 7 seconds behind Frenchman Michel Lelièvre (CC Cambrai).
