Canada’s Palmer and Walsh Advance to BMX Supercross Motos

May 11, 2014 (Papendal, NED) – On a cold and rainy day in the Netherlands, both James Palmer of North Vancouver, BC and Amelia Walsh of Ayr, ON have qualified for the main motos of the 2014 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal, the Netherlands.

The qualifiers, which were delayed multiple times because of the rain, finally went off and the top 64 men and 24 women advanced for the main motos and finals.

In the evening Time Trial Superfinals, Tory Nyhaug of Coquitlam, BC crashed in the second straightaway, and was transported to hospital, where he will remain overnight for observations.
