Canada’s Lay Wins Overall at Green Mountain Stage Race – Staples 4th, Chretien 6th

September 04, 2017 (App Gap, Vermont) – Canada’s Kirsti Lay (Canadian National Team) claimed the Pro 1/2/3 Women’s overall finishing 3rd in the final 30.10km Stage 4 Burlington Criterium won by fellow Canuck and teammate Simone Boilard. Boilard finished second overall with Luce Bourbeau (Can) Desjardins Ford placing third for an all-Canadian GC final podium.

Graydon Staples (Can) Toronto Hustle was just off the men’s final podium in 4th overall as his teammate Trevor O’Donnell led the Canadian men placing 6th on the final 50.21 km criterium won by Connor Jennings (USA) Velocio Northeast. Austin Stephens (USA) 303 Project took the GC victory.

In the Junior men’s competition Charles-Etien Chretien (Can) Canadian National Team was the top Canuck in 6th overall with Noah Simms (Can) Toronto Hustle 7th as Charles Page (Gbr) AJ Junior development/Corner Cycle took the final 30.10km stage and the overall victory.
