September 22, 2012 (Valkenburg, NED) – Canada’s Hugo Houle was just off the podium placing 4th in the 177.1km U23 Men’s road race at the 2012 Road World Championships in a thrilling battle that saw Alexey Lutsenko (Kazakhstan) win the gold over Bryan Coquard from France with Belgium’s Tom Van Asbroeck claiming the bronze.
