April 27, 2005 – The Canadian Cycling Association is proud to announce Canada’s first two medals at the 2005 Pan American road and track championships. Mandy Poitras of Vancouver and Gina Grain of Victoria finished second and third in the women’s scratch race at the Velódromo Julio Polet in Mar del Plata, Argentina. Yumari Gonzalez of Cuba won gold.
